We Are Savage

Throughout history, there have been those who have distanced themselves from society.  As the world became smaller, it became harder for their spirits to escape the advancement of society and most were given no choice but accept the changes before them.  Still, there were those who shied away from the modern world and what some would call progress.  Hiding deeper in the woods and escaping into the far reaches of the wilderness they were content to live off the abundance that nature provided them.  They only took what they needed and understood that when they take care of the land, the land will take care of them.  These guardians, hunters and warriors were misunderstood and feared by modern men and were aptly given the title of “Savage”.

Today there are still those who live outside of society and away from modern convenience, but for most of us, we have been absorbed by the modern world and its creature comforts.  Still, for some the spirit of the Savage hides just beneath the surface of our being.  Restless in a world that moves too fast, and content in nature, we strive to protect and restore what progress has taken from us.  We are the explorers, adventurers and the fearless impelled by an ever-present wanderlust. We are the protectors, the keepers and the warriors that time has dismissed.  We are the teachers to those that do know, the voice for those that cannot speak, and the change that must happen…
